What To Ask When Booking A DJ

01: PAT - Does the DJ have tested equipment?
Yes, all our DJ's and Discos have their equipment tested for electrical safety. Certificates are available on request.

02: PLI - Does the DJ have adequate insurance?
Yes, we have public liability insurance to the value of two million pounds.

03: Do they offer confirmations and agreements?
Every booking comes with a written confirmation for your peace of mind.

04: Are they experienced in the field you are booking?
All of our DJ's and Discos have a minimum of 10 years experience in all the services we offer.

05: Is the equipment of a professional standard?
All of our equipment is under 2 years old and we only use professional sound and lighting.

06: Dress code – Are they able to cater for black tie events?
Yes, we can provide DJ's from Smart Casual to Black Tie depending on your requirements.

07: CRB Certificate - Have they been vetted to work with children?
We have!

08: Do they have a backup DJ?
We do!

09: Do they take requests?
Of course, both in advance or at the event.

10: Will they play the music at a reasonable volume?
We will, and we won't take offence if you tell us to turn it up or down.

11: Can they be contacted during office hours?
Certainly, we are available 24 hours a day for any contact. Outside of office hours you may be diverted to a mobile free of charge.

11: Is the DJ a member of any trade organisation?
We are members of the National Association of Disc Jockeys who promote professional business within the disco industry. All members operate within a code of conduct and also have to submit evidence of current PAT and PLI.
